About

theartwalkpr is an independent local cultural project designed to promote Puerto Rico's vibrant art scene through curated art experiences, exhibition projects, and community art-based initiatives.

Our mission is to encourage a spirit of appreciation, collecting, and philanthropy in support of Puerto Rican artists in residents, visitors, and, international settings.

We are passionate and proud of our artists and want people to live the essence of the island’s art scene in a knowledgeable, relaxed and fun way by providing unique experiences from getting to know an artist first-hand, visiting their studio to corporate social responsibility (CSR) outreach.

Our “rutas y experiencias” include a range of experiences from group tours of the murals at “Calle Cerra”, casual cocktails at Santurce’s alternative art spaces, sit-down dinners at an artist’s studio to artist community-based projects. theartwalkpr designs tailor  experiences for companies looking for enriching experiences in the arts.

theartwalkpr’s future long-term goal is to expand its services to New York  City and Chicago where so many Puerto Rican artists are living and producing their work.

Let us take care of all the details to make your cultural experience a unique one!

Georgie Vega

(San Juan, Puerto Rico) Public Relations Consultant with twenty years of experience conceptualizing and promoting projects in the arts in Puerto Rico. I have been fortunate to work hand in hand with artists, museums and galleries putting together creative platforms, developing, promoting exhibitions, fundraising efforts, special projects, and events. My experience ranges from working as the director of Public Relations for the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, Public Relations at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico, Walter Otero Contemporary Art, arte_Fits Foundation, 4th San Juan Poly/Graphic Triennial: Latin America and the Caribbean to organizing the traveling exhibition Calibán (San Juan, P.R., Chicago, IL & New York, NY), among others.

Many things have changed in our beloved Puerto Rico, especially after the impact of Hurricane María.

Living on an Island in the midst of a bleak economic crisis, we have no option but to reinvent ourselves, there is no other choice.  I’ve gathered years of work experience, and my love for traveling and put together theartwalkpr. What better way to connect with people through unique artistic events and experiential tours!

Join us and discover Puerto Rico's most incredible vibrant art scene!
